Ye olde aeroplane and a minor gripe about Vimeo

Don't get me wrong...Vimeo really is quite a resource for people who need to share high quality videos...
But sometimes it takes so long to get the link in order to embed it, you actually fall asleep on the computer waiting.

Today's assignment was to take two videos about an old flying machine and cut it up so the cuts follow the script we were given. I tried for a while to do the voiceover myself, but I failed. Terribly. Miserably.

Here is the video, then the script! ENJOY THE HELL OUT OF THIS! I will be in the photo pit of Wakarusa or in the band area doing interviews for the next four days. With any luck, I might get a few good shots.

[CG :ANTIQUE PLANE]
THE LANDING TOOK PLACE AT DRAKE FIELD THIS AFTERNOON.
THE PLANE WAS BUILT IN LITTLE ROCK IN 1929 AND IS CONSIDERED THE LAST ONE OF IT'S KIND.

YEARS AGO, PILOT ARTHUR KNOWLES FOUND IT IN SEVERAL PIECES IN MISSOURI.
IT TOOK HIM TEN YEARS TO completely RESTORE IT.
HE USED ALL ORIGINAL PARTS -- INCLUDING THE PROPELLER, COCKPIT AND WHEELS.

THE PLANE WAS USED AS A TRAINING PLANE

FOR NEW PILOTS. IT WILL NOW REMAIN AT THE ARKANSAS AIR MUSEUM FOR THE PUBLIC TO ENJOY.
